Falling Film Evaporator

Working Principle

The feed liquid enters the top of the evaporator and is evenly distributed into each heating tube by a precision liquid distributor. Under gravity, the liquid flows downward as a continuous thin film. The heating medium (steam) outside the tubes transfers heat to vaporize the liquid film; the generated vapor accelerates the film flow to the bottom of the tubes. The mixture of vapor and concentrated liquid then enters the vapor-liquid separator for separation, with secondary steam condensed or reused, and the concentrated product collected.
