                                            Introduction of OSLO Crystallizer


1. Overview :

OSLO crystallizer is divided into evaporative OSLO crystallizer and cooled OSLO crystallizer. The evaporative OSLO crystallizer is heated by the external heater to the circulating liquid into the vacuum flash chamber to evaporate to supersaturate, and then through the vertical pipe into the suspension bed to make the crystals grow. Due to the special structure of OSLO crystallizer, the larger particles first contact supersaturated solution, and then the smaller solution. The cooled OSLO crystallizer cooler is supersaturated by the external cooler to the saturated material, and then enters the suspension bed through the vertical pipe so that the crystals can grow. Due to the special structure of OSLO crystallizer, the larger particles first contact the supersaturated solution. Therefore, the crystals produced by OSLO crystallizer have large volume, uniform particles and high production capacity. It has the advantages of continuous operation and low labor intensity.


2. Working principle 

The solution flows out from the upper part of the crystallizer, enters the forced circulation pump, passes through the device that can make the solution produce supersaturation and enters the central downcomer of the crystallizer, gradually forms crystallization, and the grown crystals sink at the bottom of the crystallizer and are taken out as products.


3. Characteristics

1. Due to the special structure of OSLO itself, the products produced have the advantages of large particles and narrow particle size distribution;

2, the amount of solution circulation is large, the supersaturation of the solution is small, and it is not easy to produce secondary crystal nucleus c;

3, continuous production, output can be large or small;

4. There is no crystal breakage problem in the clear liquid circulation;

5, the supersaturation in the suspended bed provides a good condition for crystal growth, d>20μ;


4. Application scope

OSLOCrystallizer is now mainly used in the industry range: salt, metallurgy, MSG, water product processing, soft water manufacturing, etc.
