Double-effect Falling Film Evaporator for Juice/Milk Concentration

Machine Description

Double-effect Falling film evaporator

Double-effect Falling Film Evaporator for Juice/Milk Concentration

Application

Chemical, food industry.

Working Principle

The liquid falling from the falling film is pumped into the top feed port of the falling film evaporator heating chamber. After the top enters, the material will be evenly distributed to each heating tube along the wall to form a film. In the process of flowing down, the feed liquid will be heated and vaporized by the shell-side heating medium due to the increase of temperature, and the generated steam and the liquid phase will enter the separation chamber of the evaporator, the vapor-liquid is fully separated, and the steam enters the condenser to condense (single effect) Operation) or entering the next effect evaporator as a heating medium to achieve multi-effect operation, the liquid phase is discharged from the separation chamber. In order to achieve the concentration effect, the multi-effect falling film evaporator has an additional use of secondary steam, so that the material concentration ratio is higher.

Equipment Component

Falling film evaporator mainly consists of evaporator (heat exchanger), separator, preheater, condenser, condensate tank, circulation pump and other components. Main role as following:
1. Evaporator (heat exchanger): heating and evaporation of liquid materials.
2. Separator: the secondary steam generated after heating is separated from the concentrated liquid gas.
3. Preheater: preheating the liquid material entering the steam; the secondary steam is cooled to facilitate recycling thereof.
4. Condenser:  the secondary steam is condensed to facilitate recycling.
5. Condensate tank:  through the connection with the pump at the exit, can automatically discharge the condensate in the tank.
