Introduction of RO Water Treatment System
1. Overview :
O water treatment system, also known as reverse osmosis water treatment system, is a membrane separation technology, the principle is the raw water under the action of high pressure through the reverse osmosis membrane, the solvent in the water from high concentration to low concentration diffusion to achieve the purpose of separation, purification, concentration, because it is in the opposite direction of penetration in nature, so called reverse osmosis. Reverse osmosis water treatment system can remove bacteria, viruses, colloids, organic matter and more than 98% of dissolved salts in water. This method has the advantages of low operating cost, simple operation, high automation and stable effluent quality. Compared with other traditional water treatment methods, it has obvious advantages and is widely used in water treatment related industries.
2. Working principle
RO (Reverse Osmosis) is a membrane process that uses the selectivity of RO membrane to overcome the osmotic pressure of solvent (usually water) by using the static pressure difference on both sides of the membrane as the driving force, allowing the solvent to pass through and retain ionic substances to separate the liquid mixture. There are two necessary conditions for RO separation process: first, the applied pressure must be greater than the osmotic pressure of the solution (the operating pressure is generally 1.5~10.5MPa); The second is that there must be a highly permeable, highly selective semi-permeable film. RO membrane surface micropore size is generally less than 1nm, most of the inorganic salts, dissolved organic matter, dissolved solids, organisms and colloids have a high removal rate.
3. Advantage
Compared with other traditional separation projects, the RO separation process has its unique advantages:
(1) pressure is the main driving force of the RO separation process, and the energy consumption is low without energy-intensive exchange phase transformation;
(2) RO does not require a large number of precipitating agents and adsorbents, and the operating cost is low;
(3) RO separation engineering design and operation is simple, the construction period is short;
(4) RO purification efficiency is high, environmentally friendly. Therefore, RO technology has been widely used in domestic and industrial water treatment.
4. Application
1)Desalination of seawater and brackish water
2)Manufacture of pure water and ultra-pure water
3)Industrial wastewater treatment
